EP Palo Alto, California, is home to many of America's large corporations, including Xerox and a few computer companies\. When the band played there in March 1996, they were given a several tours of these temples of economical and technological advancement\. Thus, the song is about the "city of the future" \- the motto of Palo Alto, which is situated in Silicon Valley\- and ponders the friendly attitude of the people the band members met there; Thom greets those people in the chorus\. It was finally recorded in the UK in November 1997\. The band have never worked out how to play it live properly\. "아유 이런\~ 친절, 친절하기도 하셔라^^" "난 상관 없어\. 괜찮아? 너도 괜찮아 질거야" 어느 날이나 하늘 색깔이 깜짝 놀랄만치 아름다운데도 오늘도 예외없이 난 신나게 일하잖아 "난 참 게으른 것 같애\. 너무 오래 딴청피웠네\." "난 괜찮아\. 좀 어때?" "아유 이런\~ 친절, 친절하기도 하셔라^^" "난 아무렇지도 않아\. 괜찮아? 너도 괜찮아 질거야" 이 노래에서 중요한 부분이 "난 괜찮아 좀 어때?" 물어보는 부분이라고 봅니다\. 저기서 괜찮다는건 컨디션이 아니라 미래 도시에 거부감 없이 적응해버렸다는 것 같습니다\. 첨단과 변화를 거부하는 사람들도 많잖아요\. 하지만 노래에 나오는 화자는, "그럭저럭 살 만 하네"라고 말하고 있습니다\. 한 편, 라디오헤드의 성격상, 저게 모두 풍자라고 한다면, 더 하고싶은 말 없어요^^

Meeting People Is Easy 에서 에스컬레이터 씬에 나오는 노래죠 \.\. 일부러 만들어진 뮤비 본 것처럼 , 이 노래 들으면, 에스컬레이터에서 사람들이 빠른 속도로 왔다갔다 했던 그 모습이 생각납니다 \.\. 군중속에 파묻힌 손톱만하게 작은 인간\. 지루한 일상의 반복 \.\. 뭐 이딴 것들 \.\.\. 좋은 해석 잘 읽었습니다 \*^^
